Example 2:

Let us imagine that we want to find a manuscript by Federico García Lorca which makes a reference to a rose and to the plain, but on which we have no further data. Since we are dealing with a manuscript, we should select the option "Archives-manuscripts" on the "Database selection" screen. If "Federico García Lorca" were included in the "Author" window for the "Advanced search", the result would be an excessive number of documents, as a result of which it is more advisable to specify the search more, for example by keying in the word "Rose" in the "Title" window.

If, for example, we knew what institution had custody of the document, the file in which the date was included or an approximate date, then the search might be refined further. The result obtained with the data provided is as follows:

Remember that these results might extend due to the continuous increase in the number of documents in the database.

By clicking on the option "Archive documents", which in this case offers four results, an extract of the description of each will appear:

"Rosa de llanuras" would appear to be what we are looking for. By clicking on the name, a description will appear:

The lower button indicates that there is a digitalised image available to the user. You may, therefore, access a reproduction of the document, which will appear as follows:

Remember that at each stage of the search there is a help button to guide you in relation to the options offered.
